Deputies
 
Jeff Castle served thirteen years in the military and did two tours in Iraq. He graduated DOCJT class of 500 and has four years in law enforcement. 

B. Joe Hill served as the jailer for four years and has been with the sheriff's office for five years. 

Bill Holbrook has twenty-three years experience in law enforcement. He served with the Kentucky State Police and the Paintsville Police Department before joining the Johnson County Sheriff's Office. 

Chadwick Penix began his career in law enforcement as a volunteer in 2008. He became a deputy in 2009 and started working for JCSO in 2019.

Adam Williams (School Resource Officer) served in the US Coast Guard for four years and twenty-two years in law enforcement from Florida. 

Court Security

Jack Howard has seven years of court sercurity experience.

Calvin Music has twenty-six years of law enforcement experience. 

Steve Sluss has thirty-five years of law enforcement experience. 

Roger Workman has one year in court security experience, five years of active duty experience in Air Force Intelligence, and three years in the Kentucky Army National Guard 201st Engineering Battalion. 

James Wright has twenty years experience in the department of corrections and four years at the sheriff's office. 




Administration

Valerie Lemaster is the Bookkeeper for the sheriff's office.

Crystal Saylor is the Administrative Specialist.

Stephanie Mills is a Deputy Clerk who joined the sheriff's office in September of 2020.
